Maison Saz
A dark, gallery-like digital flagship for Maison Saz, a fragrance house that treats scent as sculpture.

01 — Context
Maison Saz is an independent perfume house. Its fragrances are released as numbered “episodes”, each built around a mood and a few notes, such as Episode V, After Hours: rum, black pepper and bergamot.
The house wanted a site that felt like walking into a dark gallery rather than a beauty counter.
02 — The challenge
Fragrance cannot be smelled through a screen. The site had to carry each scent through image, type and pacing alone, and make a growing archive of episodes easy to browse and buy.
03 — Direction
We built the experience in black and grey with a condensed serif display face. The hero sets the line “Scent as sculpture.” beside a monumental bottle shot, with the subline “Compositions for those who wear silence loudly.”
Every bottle is photographed as an object on its own set: wet rock, a bar at night, smoke, white silk. That makes each episode feel like a separate room in the same house.

04 — The Archive
Episodes live in “The Archive: Fourteen episodes. Sculpted from silence.” Each card reveals its name and notes on hover, so customers can browse by mood and then go straight to the bottle.
Navigation stays minimal (Shop, Discovery, About, Journal) with the cart always visible.

05 — Pre-launch
While the new collection is being prepared, the domain runs a quiet holding page: the SAZ monogram, a single line of copy and a newsletter sign-up over a slow, blurred bottle silhouette, with an early-access entrance for invited customers.

06 — The result
A flagship that sells mood before notes, and a modular archive that grows with every episode the house releases.
